The Schools

Several school districts serve students from Mettawa: Libertyville Elementary School District #70, Rondout Elementary School District #72, Hawthorn Elementary School District #73, and Lincolnshire-Prairie View Elementary School District #103. High school students from Mettawa attend Adlai E. Stevenson High School District #125 or Libertyville High School District #128. Stevenson High School, most notably, is the only school in Illinois to receive four Blue Ribbon Awards by the U.S. Department of Education and Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report have consistently ranked Stevenson among the top 100 high schools in America.
